What beautiful stories about cosmo, it brought tears to my eyes. He was a much loved cat since he became a Haybot. A never ending cafe of food and a little playground with lots of toys and his special toy the mousey which was very bad smelling, and a never ending supply of hugs and kisses. You never forget the animals that share your life. Hope Dilmah will be a mentor to little rollo and look after him.

I feel quite bereft and can well imagine how you both (and Dilmah) are feeling. Cosmo has definitely left paw prints on our hearts - we are saddened by his untimely end and will remember him with love and amusement at his antics.

Cosmo was a great cat. He was inquisitive and nosy and loved to play, especially with mousey! He liked nothing better than to lie in the sun on our bed and sleep awhile ... until it was time to head back outside in search of more adventures. Cosmo had a friend who lived across the street and he used to hang out on their driveway ... he knew he wasn't supposed to cross the road but he thought it would be safe at 6.30 in the morning. He didn't bank on some hoon coming around the corner at 100mph. How anyone can hit a little cat and not stop I do not know ...

That is sad - cats are little buddies. I hope Dilmah won't get too lonely.
