(originally on the South West Airlines blog) Kevin Smith was asked to get off a plane, ostensibly for the safety of other customers, because he was deemed too fat… Unfortunately for SW airlines, he tweeted what was happening in real time to his 1.6 million twitter followers! Above is the SW airlines "heartfelt apology" to Mr Smith. The comments are pretty negative about SW airlines. I am overweight, but I have never been refused passage on an airline because of it…
